Welcome to Leaf a Message
Each day, a new tree appears in the grove. Everyone shares the same tree for that day, adding little leaf-notes with short messages.
The tree resets at midnight (Denver time) (the same moment worldwide). When it resets, today’s tree is saved into the Grove so you can revisit later. Old trees are view-only – you can read the leaves, but new messages can only be added to today’s tree.
Daily limit: You can place up to 2 leaves per day. Your remaining count shows in the panel as Your leaves left. After you use both leaves, the message box and button will be disabled until tomorrow.
Tree rules
- Be kind. Leave something you’d be happy to find.
- Keep it cozy. Avoid harsh language or mean messages.
- No spam. One thoughtful note beats many repeated ones.
- No personal info. Please don’t share personal info.
How to add a leaf
- Click a square in the canopy to choose a spot.
- Type your message in the box below the tree (max 40 characters).
- Click Add Message to place your leaf on the tree.
Leaves you add today will have a thin outline so they’re easy to spot when you come back.
Tips
- Use the Auto / Day / Night toggle in the top-right to change the mood.
- Check Your leaves left in the panel to see how many you can still place today.
- Visit the Grove tab to browse past trees by date.
- Today’s tree resets at midnight (Denver time) — check the panel for your local reset time and the countdown.
- Your leaves get a thin white outline so you can easily find what you placed.
- You can hover over the leaves to see the message.
